  3. Predation is an interaction where a predator feeds on its prey. Competition is an interaction between organisms or species in which the fitness of one is lowered by the presence of another. An example of competition is food. An example of predation is a lion hunting a gazelle.

  5. When an organism kills and eats the other organisms. Example: lion killing a zebra.

    When organisms struggle amongst themselves for the same resources in an ecosystem. Example: Cheetah will get the prey faster than a lion.
